Terms of Service & SMS Messaging Policy

1. Business Identity

These Terms of Service govern your use of SMS messaging services provided by Ascentus ("Ascentus", "we", "us", or "our"), a digital marketing agency based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Contact us at contact@ascentusagency.com.

By opting in to receive SMS messages from Ascentus, you agree to receive text message communications related to appointment confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, and updates regarding our digital marketing services including website development, SEO, and Meta advertising.

2. Opt-Out & Support Mechanisms

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to the phone number you received messages from. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

3. Message Frequency

As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive up to 5 messages per scheduled appointment including booking confirmation, reminders, and follow-up communications. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

4. Carrier Liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Ascentus is not responsible for any delays or failures in message delivery caused by your wireless carrier or network conditions.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your information is used solely to deliver the services you have requested from Ascentus.

6. Consent to Receive Messages

By booking an appointment, completing a contact form, or otherwise providing your phone number to Ascentus, you expressly consent to receive SMS text messages from us at the phone number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any services.

7. Age Restriction

Our SMS messaging service is intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By opting in to receive text messages from Ascentus, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, please do not provide your phone number or consent to receive SMS messages from us.

8. Changes to These Terms

Ascentus reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our SMS messaging service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
